I’ve seen a few posts go back and forth about fan elitism in the comics fandom (true~ fans versus movie fans) and I thought I’d offer my two cents. As a general rule, fan elitism is gross.  I don’t understand the point of sitting around on the internet, huffing and posturing because you’ve read 100 back issues of Captain America and some plebeian has only seen the movie....
